I’m on retreat at a monastery in Dubuque this week, but that doesn’t stop me from writing a pastor’s column!
I encourage everyone to tune in to Redeemer Radio at 2:00 on Thursday. The St. Charles hour of the Sharathon will feature Fr. Dennis and several other parishioners telling their faith stories. You may want to phone in a pledge or you may want to take an envelope from the back of the church and make a pledge to help Catholic radio here in Fort Wayne. You can tune in at 106.3 FM. You can also listen (and make donations) on their website, redeemerradio.com.
Patrick Florea and John Henry will be offering a two-part workshop this Monday evening, 4/23 and next Monday, 4/30. If you would like to think more about ways to share your faith with friends and family members, come join us in the Hession Center at 7 p.m. both nights.
Finally, you may want to mark your calendar and attend the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, May 5. A group of young adults from Indiana and Michigan will be leading our liturgical music at that Mass. After Mass, they will offer a 45-minute concert of sacred music and a workshop to talk about music and liturgy. This should be a great event.
