Bishop Rhoades will join us for our 11:00 Mass next Sunday, July 20. It is an honor to have the bishop join us for a parish Mass. I would love to see a full church to welcome the bishop. For those who attend a different Mass, you might want to change your routine and come to the 11:00 Mass next weekend.
We will have coffee and donuts after the 8:15 Mass on Wednesday morning, 7/16. Join us in the Community Room after Mass and get to know the neighbors who pray with you.
An interesting event is held in Fort Wayne this week for those who are interested in pipe organs and in churches. “Follow the Pipes” is a three-day free event in which people can visit various churches, learn about their pipe organs, and hear the instruments played. It begins on Tuesday at St. Charles with a 1:00 explanation and performance on our organ. Then it moves to St. Peter’s Lutheran at 2:00. On Wednesday, 1:00 at Plymouth Congregational; 2:00 at First Presbyterian; and 3:00 at Trinity Episcopal Church. On Thursday, 7 p.m. at the Cathedral and 8 p.m. at the Embassy Theater.
