Stay Hungry: Spring Retreat 2023
In the spirit of the National Eucharistic Revival, our team is planning a retreat centered on the Eucharist because Jesus is the only one who can satisfy our spiritual hunger. No matter what we try to fill ourselves with, we can never be truly filled by anything other than Him. He is our daily bread, and we must encounter Him every day, not just on Sundays. No one shows us that better than the saints and the Blessed Mother. On this retreat, we will look to their example and learn how we can foster a greater desire for Jesus in the Eucharist–to “stay hungry” for our Lord. We will also dive into a variety of pious devotions and learn what the role that the Liturgy, the place where we receive Jesus Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, plays in our lives.
High school teens in grades 9-12 are invited to a retreat at St. Felix Catholic Center in Huntington, IN on March 24-26, 2023. Our retreat will be led by adult and high school volunteers from St. Charles Borromeo Church in Fort Wayne. We will also be joined by Damascus Missionaries from Catholic Youth Summer Camp in Centerburg, OH.
The retreat will begin at St. Felix Catholic Center in Huntington on Friday, March 24th at 7:00 pm. (Check-in from 6:30-7:00pm) Participants are responsible for their own transportation. The retreat will end at 11:30am on Sunday, March 26th.
The cost of the retreat is $80, but there is financial aid available on an as-needed basis.
If you register after Wednesday, March 1st, we cannot guarantee a t-shirt.
